I did the same thing when the vendetta ST was releasedThe mini-infernos were sold and with them being pretty much all hop-ups , they paid for new vendetta ST's for the boy and myself. But the atomic V2 balldiffs were the best I tried.I also wasted some of the 09 metal diffs..not really the gears, but the cups wallowed out to the point where the diff wouldnt work under load it was so bound up.Also I think what really helped is when I got the KMRC chassis, having a GOOD tunable slipper helped with drivetrain durability a ton.

oh how I miss when One18th.com was up and running. Those were good days for mini enthusiasts.

My old mini inferno was on a mamba25, and a aon 4900. Ate many diffs, tried many different things, all in all it was fun but more a money pit than anything.

Finally found some pics of my Mini Inferno's and time to post them...
A few alloy and carbon bits, but still running the stock brushed motor
New brushless powerplant, i think its a CM2030 8000kV.
That pinion that is on there was junk ! not sure if the pitch was wrong or what, but it was junk !
I think i need to glue these tyres on...
Complete and ready to break some parts !
I told you they were junk !
