Default got a new car!!! ofna procross JL12e

i wanted a mini but also a drifter so i got one of these lil guys

$144.99 for a 4wd belt driven onroad car that is a great bang for your buck!

i have two friends going to get one next week because they are so fun

they even haul ass with the 23turn brushed motor

of yah they had a traxxas rally on display and the bodys fit with a lil tuning

only thing i wish it had was 1/10th wheels but it did come with different offset hexes for the wheels so maybe it will clear some with the different hex

ill post some pics soon

Looks like a good setup from what little knowledge I have. Looks like fully adjustable aluminum shocks too. I'm curious to hear how enclosed the belt drive is. That's what keeps me away from most all belt drive set ups, maybe I'm wrong but I hear everything gets in those quite quickly. I saw it at Horizon Hobbies and Nitrohouse. Where did you get yours?

at the lhs where i got it they had the jl12 on display along with a traxxas rally and the bodies fit like a glove. it my first onroad so im taking it slow and trying to learn the ropes

i dont think bodies will be an issue. everyone i talked to said its a very standard size and a lot of bodies will fit

the stock body is growing on me lol kinda looks like a mini van but its actually better looking in person than in the pics online

i melted the esc case using a lipo so i stuck a brushes hpi esc in there and made a battery hold down to fit the lipos. it runs a lot smoother now for some reason

ive been using my airtronics synthesized radio in it because i wanted the 2.4 radio for my SC truck when i go to the track but i just got one of those gt3b's and im gona use that in this little guy

today, after i install and setup the new controller ill grab some pics guys. sorry for lagging

How was your steering servo? Mine wouldn't center, so i swapped it out.

mine came with some funky camber and toe that i had to fix to make it go straight because they were so bad that steering trim did nothing

servo seems great! i actually limited the steering a hair because it seemed to turn A LOT and it helped with my drifting

im a rook when it comes to onroad and belt drive so any tips will be appriciated. looking to set this up for drift. its 12th scale so what tires and wheels will fit this with 12mm hex's? and will ditching the servo saver help steering? this car is a blast and cant wait to have her sliding sideways on any surface instead of only in my slick concrete garage with the rubbers it has

You can probably fit the HPI Cup Racer bodies on that chassis as I know people have been putting the on their traxxas 1/16's. Do you know what size motor that is?

its a 540 sized motor and full size servo which is nice. i think the motor is 23turn if i remember right

thanks for the body tip too! does anyone know if someone makes wheels and drift tires in a smaller size than 1/10th scale?

what's the wheelbase on this car?

if it's 210mm, 225mm, or 239mm then a M chassis body from Tamiya or HPI cup racer body will fit.
