Default Size difference in SC18 and Detta SC?

Does anyone have a side by side pic of the SC18 and the Vendetta SC trucks? I am looking into another but have not seen the detta in person.

The Two trucks are not the same size. The Vendetta sc is bigger.

AE SC18 Lenght: 10.4" (265mm)
Wheel base: 6.5" (166mm)

Detta SC Lenght: 12.75" (324mm)
Wheel base: 7.25" (185mm)

Both are good trucks to have.....

Can the detta SC be converted to the detta TC as easy as the SC18 can become the 18R?

Converting the Vendetta series is not difficult if you are familiar with any of the models, but the RC18 series has closer similarities making conversion super easy. For starters, the hingepin mounts, steering blocks and hub carriers are all the same from 18T/B/MT and 18R. The Vendettas use several different components from model to model, giving them improved characteristics in each of their intended uses, but making conversions more challenging and expensive.

To answer your question directly, no. The Detta SC has a longer wheelbase, wider stance and much larger suspension components. The SC18 would require the tires and a body to equal the original 18R. If, when designing the 18R2, the guys at Associated would throw a few more tweaks into the mix the 18R2 could be a much more capable ride. The old 18R is so much like a 4wd truck that other street specific 18ths (Detta TC, M18 Pro, etc) can easily beat it on smooth surfaces.
