Hey all, looking to get a micro scte after I sell my rustler this summer. The good ol rusty hasn't been much fun lately compared to my Losi mini 8t, and I had a blast with my extended ECX kick flip, so I want to get into micros. Any advice?

Local hobby shop has new and discontinued scte's, he said the older version was better. What's the difference in the two ?

on the site losi the SCTE model still exists.
I do not think the previous model it is better. the new one (SCTE) has the brushless motor, radio 2.4, lipo batteries is much better

Default losi 1/24 Rally

I have the above mentioned car, or rather my daughter does and the motor has died on it. I was wondering if there is a better brushed motor then the stock one, that i can put in.. She is only 7 and doesn't need a brushless yet cause even at the brushed speed she hits everything. Just wouldn't mind giving her a little more power so she can learn to control her speed better. TIA..

Bought 2 Losi micro rallys - they will only go about 10 feet before dropping the transmitter signal. Any thoughts?

They're running the 27MHz am system

Thanks
it's the 27 band. It's 60 year old technology and it sucked on a good day. Go with 2.4. I know it's more $, that's why your cars were so cheap

Check the antennas where they connect to the circuit board. One wire. Easy fix.

Im going to be getting the new exotek chassis (I cant link yet as im new) for my micro-SCT. Question on a servo upgrade. Looking for something that returns to center a bit better and just overall better perfomance. I see the JR Sport SM22 listed here. Seems it has great specs for the price. Any other servo suggestions? Any issues with it? Recommended servo savers? Thanks for the input

Quick question about the general Losi 2.4 ghz conversion (in my case, Truggy using the stock Losi conversion kit): Will this bind to any suitable 2.4ghz (dsm?) transmitter?? I have the Carisma GT24 and HPI Savage XS TXs both of which are good...

Anyone know how to change the settings on this Spektrum integrated receiver/esc? I can't find a manual anywhere. It's part number SPMSR210BL. I got a micro rally x this morning (what a hoot inside when it's too wintry to run the buggies in the back yard!) Just trying to figure out how to tame the reverse speed!

Got a range problem with a Losi Truggy with the stock 2.4ghz / brushless combo conversion and stock Losi 2.4ghz TX. I followed the instructions properly and everything works and controls great except the range drops and 20m and won't reconnect until I'm within 10m. Fresh batteries, no interference and other 2.4ghz cars are running fine in the same area.

Help?!

Anyone know if there are any alternative wheels / tyres that would fit the truggy (including tyres I could glue onto the truggy wheels) that would give a smoother finish for riding on very grippy carpet?? Cheers.

Any guesses as to what amperage the stock esc is rated at? I really would like to try replacing the stock electronics on this when I get the exotek chassis. Smallest ESC i can find is the hobbyking 10A and has a 2 pole motor limit of 240,000 rpm, which i assume would be fine on 2s.

Curious if anyone has ever tried to replace it or know what kind of amps the stock is rated for?

Does anyone equipped the GPM front knuckle arms (SCT021). The screws that come with the knuckels are too large and will not thread into the hole without a lot of force. I was able to find a set of SCT019 front caster blocks but even those screws are too large. I have contacted GPM and they are trying to assiat but I dont have alot of confidence.

I did find a screw that threads but it is too short and is not a shoulder screw.

Both local hobby shops and several emails to websites that specialize in screws have been no help. One website said they don't make screws that small, to which I replied with a picture and they have not replied back.

I also have a set of losi spindles (LOSB1642) which I will end up having to use because the fit perfect with the screws provided

Hello guys, I got this truck Losi: 1/24 Micro Brushless SCT RTR: Blue: Losi (LOSB0242T1) from my GF for christmas. It's a fun little truck so far, but the servo is reeeally slow and weak..

So, is there any chance, with stock electronics, to install a 3-wire servo? The stock is 5-wire. Or the only chance is to buy like some 10A esc and use my pro transmitter and buy another receiver that 'd cost as much as the car. Or there are some 5 wire faster stronger servos?

Thanks for the answer.
