Default Mini-Z/HPI RS-32 ??

I want to get me a micro Racer, I'm new to the RC world and don't know much em. Would anyone suggest one? I'm thinking either the Mini-Z or the HPI RS-32? are they still available?

I don't own a mini-z yet, but I've raced one and seen them race. And I've done a lot of research on a personal level on micro and mini scale.

HPI is a big company that puts out some great product. My understanding is this is a new release. They likely see an opportunity in this scale. With that, I'd consider the new 1/32 as a first run product. There will be issues and tweaks that will need to be fixed.

Kyosho mini-z has been around for many years. They've perfected these cars, and there are a ton of upgrade options for them as well as retailers who sell mini-z.

Look at the options available for mini-z from Formula 1 to touring car to vintage cars to 4wd. Then make your decision.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the info "visual_rabbi", I am very interested in the new HPI RS-32, I was wondering does anyone know when they will be available? That would make a big affect on my decision.

The only thing that I'd be wary about with a Mini-Z is that if Kyosho decides to forget about them and concentrate on the D-Nano. You may want to check those out too, they're pretty awesome. They look just like a slot car.
