Default RC 18T/ HITEC SERVO? WHICH ONE

I have a rc18t and I messed up my servo doing front flips! I got a airtronics that works but I have a brand new Hitec hs-82mg and I was wondering if I could make it work? And if so what servo saver? Hope someone can help me!! Thanks!!! Brian:

i use the same servo with a kimbrough saver, but i use it in the exotek chassis conversion.i was'nt able to mount it in the stock 18t chassis, and the spline is different for the stock servo saver.a hitec 65/or 5065 mg digital would be a good replacement in my opinoin, good luck.

Ya the 82 is just a bit too much with the larger size AND larger splines. You may be able to work it if you are crafty.
I think the HS-65MG is a good fit, thats what I use.

I did some reading and saw that the Hitec HS 65 is not a direct fit, while the HS 56 is. Which ever one you get, you'll need the Associated Hitec servo saver set.

If you want a drop in servo, go with the Hitec 56HB. It has the karbonite gears and is a decent little servo. I have one in my 18R. If you want a little more torque, you can get the Hitec 65MG (metal gear) or the Hitec 65HB (karbonite gears). They take a little work to get them to fit, but with the Exotek servo mounts it is pretty easy.

Couple any of these with the Xray servo saver and an upgraded steering rack and you will have a much more precise driving car.
