[quote=JonnySocko;6526375]Glad you like the look. Anderson does produce the Vendetta. The updates to the chassis for the different versions, TC, Rally, SC, were done here though.

Sorry, no steel drive shafts but the plastic ones have been revised to be stronger.

That's a very good idea....

Once parts come in stock you could take the longer chassis and bolt your ST suspension on it. Unfortunately, there isn't a body for it yet so it would be too short. Hmm......
Trinty NOW or Mini Revo bodies should fit the bill, no?

As far as re-hashing old designs......yeah, AE already beat DTX to that punch with the 18T, MT, B and R.

The Detta platform is a proven design (designed by Anderson and re-tooled by DTX for their own needs) as Chris mentioned, so why should they change it?

I, for one, am thrilled at the fact that the SC chassis is longer and will therefore take SxS packs so I can build my own. If you didn't notice that right off the bat.....you need glasses.

BTW.....the SC will use suspension parts from the buggy alla PBS, not the ST.
Well then call me blind because I missed it...

I've had other problems with my Vendetta ST. I'm not going to bring those issues here, but if you search you'll find them. I'm sorry I said something bad about your beloved Vendetta, but this is an open forum and I'm allowed to have an opinion!

There's no need to get all defensive dude. I'm entitled to refute your opinions just as you are entitled to form them.

OK, I can't take it anymore.

I fail to see how your rather blatant dislike for the vendettas have anything to do with the topic at hand; yet while you may feel free to voice your opinion on the "open forum" it might be better to realize that other people are going to refute your complaints or at the very least question your motives.

If after getting one of the new SCs, and I say if, and you have some problems with it, other than those that would be labeled "user-error," then would be a more appropriate time to complain.

Yet realistically if one was to get down to the bare-bones fact about literally any RC vehicle the fact is that everything today is ReadyToRun and much of the included stock items are of lesser quality and eventually need to be replaced with quality items, but that is the case for everything on the market. These are toy cars if you haven't noticed.

Otherwise if your complaints are relative to crashing your Vendetta ST headlong into mailbox posts, trees, walls, and other immovable objects, or launching it at 30mph off the roof of your house then I'd guess you would have complaints about any RC platform and it might be advisable to find a hobby more in line with your destructive tendancies.

Your comments always come off as offensive to me for some reason. The rolling eyes smiley doesn't help. No harm no foul!

Your rant is misguided. I've been in this hobby since the early 80's when I recieved a Tamiya Hornet as a Christmas gift when I was about 7 years old. I'm not a newbie who doesn't know what he's doing nor am I oblivious to the fact that RCs break and require maintenance and repairs.

The fact is the Vendetta has given me more problems than any RC I've ever owned, including RTRs from Losi, Tamiya, and Traxxas. None of these problems I've had with the Vendetta have occured from user error. If you really want I will post all of my issues with the Vendetta here.

It might make for interesting reading, so go ahead.
Then again it might more likely point you out as someone lesser-skilled and of lesser experience then you lead on being.

Regardless of how long you've been a member here, it doesn't seem very appropriate to be Ripping on this truck!

Is there a official release date?

We expect them to arrive on November 23rd, give or take a few days of course.

I questioned you about my problems on another Vendetta thread that you were also posting on and you didn't respond there. But I just PMed them to you.

You're a new member with only a few posts and you're only posting on this thread to try to start trouble. Real nice!
