Skyrocket?

Yeah Tim, I'll let you know if I find anything to cut through the cuffs.

Shopping spree might work if my "I had to miss Vintage Offroad Nats to go to a cousin's wedding, whom I've never met!" excuse no longer holds any water.

Absolutely, Skyrocket. Tory and I played phone tag yesterday, but I know he is defiantly in. It was just a typo on the list, thanks for picking up on that.

I already spoke to her about it and she's cool since I missed VONATS so as long as nothing work-related comes up, I should be good to go.

OK Off-Road guys, I have some great news for you! Aaron Wilson, the man responsible for the majority of the jumps built at Kranzels, has just been brought on board along with myself to construct all the jumps for this event. Aaron and I will be meeting this week to formulate a layout, and to figure out what needs to be built. All I can say is that you guys who have seen Kranzels stadium course, and are familiar with what Aaron can build, know what kind of treat you will be in for at this year’s event.

To all that is interested in a 4wd Stock Stadium Class, I am still looking for your feedback. Anyone interested in this class can either quote this post with your intent to enter, or you can PM me and let me know. I really need to finalize all the classes.

Like last years event, Mimi's is one track, so we are going to have to setup and takedown the jumps between the On-Road and Off-Road events. Except unlike last year, where it was setup as two individual one day events with no camaraderie between the Off-Road and On-Road classes. This year we are going to have morning and afternoon sessions of On-Road and Off-Road. Where one will be run in the morning/early afternoon, and the other in the late afternoon/early evening. This will allow the event to be a true two day event again, as nobody likes to travel from long distances for a one day event if they only run either On-Road or Off-Road. Friday's open practice will also be equally separated into two sessions. For those of you who are concerned about the jumps or the carpet now that Mimi's went asphalt, this is what I can tell you. Mimi will be putting the carpet back down for the late winter months and she does have some jumps. She has also agreed to have new additional jumps made John from Team Scream was unable to dedicate the time needed to promote this as he has a prior commitment around the same time so I agreed to take the reigns this year.

Thank You,

I'd be down for stock truck. Would there be any kind of tire or battery restrictions....ie....rubber and NiMH only?

Still working on some of the rules, but ALL of the Off-Road Stadium classes will have the usual tire restrictions of, NO 1/10 or 1/12 scale wheel adapters. They can be either foams or rubber, and the 4wd Stock Stadium Truck class would be limited to 6-Cell 7.2volt NiMh cells. The 4wd Stock Stadium Truck class will be allowed to use 6-cell 7.2volt NiMh packs due to the larger tires and jumps, while the Stock Micro Touring Class for the On-Road will have the usual 5-Cell 6.0volt NiMh battery restriction.

Just wanted to give you guys a quick update that all twelve classes have been picked up by sponsors to help cover the cost of the food buffet. I am just waiting to hear back from a couple of them as to which classes they want to sponsor. Once I do, I can finish the registration forms and get them posted out on Mimi's website.

Time to let the pondering begin...

Will the Boys from MA come out and play?

Will the Kranzels guys do the same?

Will Wesley run more classes than he has digits?

Stay Tuned...
