Cheap Mini Drift Car spotted! But quality=?

Hi all, I just went to Kiddy Palace and saw a drift car. I think its SGD$22.90. Do any of u guys noe abt this n any of u want to try it? u shd be able to find it with the other rc cars... Pics may be uploaded bt only aft nxt fri, whn i go there again...

According to the internet that equals $16.10 US. You cannot get a quality RC of any kind for that price.

What brand is the car? I'm guessing it's some cheap Chinese toy. And I doubt it will have enough power to be a good drifter. In my opinion save your money until you can afford a hobby grade drift car. You can also get a 4WD RC and put drift tires on it. It won't be as good as a dedicated drift car, but it will be fun for a beginner. The thing is used drift cars are available online all the time in the for sale section of RC forums like this or online auction sites.

the only ones I know that are about that price are the tomy takara drift light RCs... o wait... the tomy takara are about $30.

so that could be the cheaper imitations.

normally RCs within that price range have controllers/electronics that are not digital proportional, might not have spareparts and hop ups (like tires, wheels).

good for kids but will not be that exciting in the end.

SGD or USD? and where do u get it at that price in sg? i only see it goin at SGD$60!
