Questions?? losi 1/36 scale

I have a losi 1/36 scale I just upgraded to brushless with lipo. I am having an issue with it, it runs for about 2 min. and shuts down. Battery is fully charged, all I have to do is turn switch off/on and it is ready to go. My connections are solid?

Let me guess you bought the Losi Xcelorin system? My guess is you're hitting the thermal overload protection. It's a very common problem. Send me a PM and I'll help you out.

i have an xcelorin brushless/lipo set-up on micor DT too... but I don't have that problem... (i bought it secondhand)

could it be the programming of the xcelorin brushless esc-motor combo?

Long story short...
Its basically an overload of the system. There is a safety that triggers when the motor is drawing too much current. It shuts down the car so that the MOSFET's (little transistors on the circuit board) don't get blown.

The complete explanation is over my head, lol. But, if you want to make it stop you can either go brushless, or take some very small transistors off of your circuit board.

I have also heard that bearings help...or taking it easy on the throttle

Good luck
