Hi,

Have you tried the MLST2 diffs? I haven't stripped these since installing them last year. I'm running 3cell, 6800kv motor, center spool with 1/10 rims and tires and I'm very happy with the diffs. Only thing I'm breaking now are the plastic shock towers Also, don't confuse the viscous diffs with the MLST2 diffs. The viscous diffs are fragile and was a waste of money.

yup I've tried the MLST 2 diffs, I think many of us have tried.. Your one of the few lucky ones I guess...

All I'm saying is it wont hurt to post somethig on there forum. Help the cause those that arent as lucky as you with the diffs...
I mean most other RC's have diffs with metal internal gear available.

Losi is a big company why cant they do this for us loyal MLST owners!!.

Yes, I can understand the plastic spiders possibly giving out. Metal spiders would be nice. I think most people would agree the stock servos are much bigger issue though. You and are in business making single servo conversions after all. lol

Opposite for me- viscous was major fail/ major waste of money

Thomas- You are the type that is good with tools. Try the Atomic metal ball diff but switch the plastic diff gear for metal mini inferno ball diff gear. You just need to dremel each teeth deeper to mesh with the MLST2 input gears more freely. Very bullet proof so far for me

My daughter bought one to "hang with Dad" and the diffs blew in about four minute with it being all stock and a pack of Skyrocket cells...fixed it twice and it kept striping the pinion....I haven't tried the MLST2 gears...this was a sad design and I hate to think I need to drop more coin on something that blew up as it came out of the box..

I had my MLST2 for 3 years and did all the mods I could too it , one of the best ones was to shim behind the side bevel gears inside the diff cup and use metal spider gears from a Trinity NOW , but still had to use the plastic side bevel gears.

Mine would hold up too a Losi 9400Kv motor on 3s . OR you could get a Mini E REVO VXL and never look back
