to me..it like like an rc18t or b? but i hav never actually seen one..only in pics..
but for $40 with ball diff, bearing, and alu parts..seems like a bargain..
why would he jip me?
i have bought many things from many random hong kong sellers..
his ratings are good..he seems like a decent sized establishment..
im sure it'll be fine..and its $40...
yeah exactly wat i was thinking...hence y i bought one..will do a write up in wen it comes..
im pretty sure alot of AE parts will fit...ill find out once i get it.. anybody know where i can get 1/10th tire converters?
I can't speak for all Hong Kong rc sellers, but most of them are very good like rcmart, rcxmini, gpmparts, I have even bought some under glow from
r2hobbies also, they are all very good. Shipping is a little slow thou because sometimes their have to clear thru US custom.
Others I am not sure. Well but at least things don't turn out right, I can sent them a nasty email in Cantonese or report them to the Consumer Council HK (http://www.consumer.org.hk/website/ws_en/)

I've been wanting to order one of these for awhile. Be sure to get a review on here soon! There seems to be a few different versions of the knock-off, and they all look to have some very similar parts. I think someone over at RCU got the brushless one from R2hobbies and said it worked well. Never read enough to see what parts could interchange.
slash it up... u can get these rtr with a brushless setup and computer radio for less than $130AU...this is only a roller so it makes sense that its only gonna be $40 US...when u think about it..u can get a top end roller scalpel pan car which is all carbon and alloy with foam tires and a speed 300 motor for only $130US...and that is a top end car..when u scale it down for a knock off rc18t which is plastic with some alloy, it kinda makes sense..
this is gonna be a pretty cheap set up car.. and i will put up a review and performance when i get it and take it to the track..
i will be running on a track thats a bit smaller than 1/10, but they do 1/10 drift on it..the surface is sand painted..
my setup will be:
ezrun 5400kv brushless and 18A esc combo
intellect IB1600 6 cell battery packs
1/10 wheel converters and either foam or rubber touring tires
futaba 2pl radio
dont know about servo yet..prob just stick with the stock one to start with
the car will mostly be an on road thing..maybe some indoor offroad if i can find some where with a track..
as i said ill do a write up when i get it and ill try and find out if AE parts fit it..
Going back to read the post I mentioned earlier. Guy says the stub axles and dogbones were different and he was unable to interchange. Also said the wheels used a hex mounting, no size given. He tried using AE diffs and said the mounting and such was the same, but the teeth were not as deep as on the AE. He used a few shims and made it work. Finally, he said the chassis and top plate were a bit longer than the AE piece. This was a few months back, and I dont know where he has gone from there, but he was very happy with the durability at the time.
Seems pretty cheap compare to what I paid for Tower or LHS all these time. Oh, I remember I saw these too I think these are the knock offs of the knock offs.
The "Road Master" looks like a "Mini Quake"
The "Sacker Sport" looks like a "RC18T"
The "Monster Truck" looks like a "MiniZilla"
The "StuckUp" looks like a "RC18B" ?
and I am not sure what that "Mad Truck" looks like
