Default How much can I sell it for?

I have a RC18T that I got in January and it has never really worked right for me. It goes faster in reverse, but other than that its been good. It had a problem where it turned to the left when accelerating, but after playing with the turnbuckles I fixed that. And Im sure someone that knows more than me can figure out the reverse thing. Im just an idiot.

Heres all that Ill be selling:

Associated Factory Team RC18T
CC Sidewinder 6800 Motor/Controller
Orion Supercharge 1600 Battery
Futaba AM Radio System
Futaba Servo
New 99% Tread Proline Dirt Hawgs
Lunsford Turnbuckle/Ballstud Kit
Extra Amateur Painted Uncut Proline Body
Baggie Of Spares

It has its problem, but its barely been used. Id say about 1.5 hours total.

Heres some pictures:

completely honest, you will not get much for it. I would either part it out, or just fix it man!! 18s are a LOT of fun!!!

I dont have anywhere to drive it so I'd rather get some money than just keep it.

Armor all the tires the chassis get rid of your electrical tape antenna and you may get more.....

Yeah, Ill definitely clean it up.

The electrical tape was just the beginning of my failed attempt to partial waterproof it.

So a brushless FT RC18T will only fetch about $125 or so?

Id keep it if I could fix the speed problem, but nothing seems to work. Maybe Caste will reply to my email.

If you are in the metro NYC area I would gladly take a look at it and help you get your issues straightened out. Im sure wherever you are you can find some racers to help you out.....

I'd say 150 at best , there are still a lot of mods that need to be done too it .

I had a RC18T with even more mods done too it than yours and I only got 165 for it , its just not in that much of a demand anymore since other manufactures have brought out better cars .

hey man if you want send it to me and I'll fix it for you and send it back, I'm in california, or like the guys said ask someone local - how about going to a local hobbypeople??

18s are cool, you can run them inside your house that's the best part, I do

to be honest, YES, the setup on these is confusing to hell, unless you get the castle link you have to play BEEP BEEP with it which can be very confusing.

i think you'll end up selling it for 100-120 tops, they don't really keep the resale that good, although they are a great car, totally bash proof and fun

Yeah, I was thinking about finding someone real honest on here and seeing if they could fix it for me. There is a hobby store an hour away, but theyre always busy and if I remember right they charge a lot for service stuff.

Not to be rude, but how do I know you wouldnt just keep it?

It is something called integrity.....
The sad thing is you cant take it to the hobbyshop because they will charge you.....
That is the downside to cheap internet prices.....
In my opinion and business ethic a really good hobbyshop would look at it for free and if it is a simple fix do it for free....then you as a customer would start buying from him to keep him in business and to be able to get free help when you need it. That is how it is supposed to work.
Just think if you bought the BL from him it would have been working right all along and you would be here complaining about how the BL system ate your geartrain....
