Default Am I the only one who spent a lot of money on his 18s?

I'm thinking about everynow now I've bought and learned from and upgraded and am realising that its a nice penny, I could have converted one of my bigger scales to a sick brushless

but I tell myself its worth it, I decided to buy a few more parts and using what I have to just build another one so shortly I'll have two

I see some of you'se with a nice penny into it too so I know I'm probably not the only one

I have done a fully modded RC18T (about 400 total)

A modded Mini T (about 300 total)

A Micro DT with close too 300 into it

A Trinity NOW with about 425 in it

A Mini LST2 with about 400 in it

So yeah I have spent a lot on my Mini's , but I have more than that into some of my big R/C's .

I have a bunch wraped up in my 18R. Between $700 and $800 before it turned a wheel. That was full Exotek, CVT's, mip diffs, brushless, 2.4ghz, lipo, PT, digital servo, foam tires. Not a whole lot cheaper than my 1/8 scale and way more than a 1/12th scale since you have to replace almost all the parts that originally come with the kit. Would be better to have a good kit come out from the factory instead of the junk stuff that all gets replaced.

I agree, my second 18 I just built from parts, no kit. Most of the things were getting replaced anyway

Well that makes me feel better.
