Cool 18R Motors and speed controls!

I am new to racing 1/18 scale on road.... I am very interested in knowing who makes good stock brushed motors and stock brushless motors. Also I would like to know what are the better speed controls recommended....

Can anyone let me know....

Thanks,

Jeremy

If you are looking for a little more speed without breaking the bank try out the losi insane motor, can be had from the lhs for about 20 bucks. it is supplied 2 ways in a single pack and 2 in a pack. it plugs right into the stock esc, same connectors.

I would recommend running the stock motors and upgrading the ESC to the Tekin B1 or Tekin FX.

Cool Where can I purchase the losi motors...

Where can I purchase these losi motors! Sounds good... I am just looking to be fast at parking lot racing.... I agree cook the motor and get new ones for that price....

I plan to just use the stock receiver and speed control till I switch to brushless...

Thanks,

Jeremy

For stock class 18R, you run the stock motor. If you change to a faster motor, you will be running modified.

Yeah, I was referring to the original poster. He is in San Diego and I was referring to the stock rules that are run here.

You can't keep up with stock cars and you have a 6800 brushless?
