Default Loose Mini T front wheels.

So my Mini-T is up and running...FAST. My only concern now is there is a lot of play in the front wheels. I think the it's the hubs and hub carriers that are loose. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Also. Will the skinny Mini Slider/Late Model front wheels work on the front of my T?

Jon

The stock Mini-T has plastic bushings on the axles -- they have a ton of "slop" -- replace them with quality bearings and it will be a huge difference...

Yes - the narrow front wheels for the Slider and the Baja will fit the Mini-T...

I already did the bearing upgrade. There is still lots of slop.

Did you replace the tiny washers that ride against the inside bearing races?

no, put a washer over the shaft. there's a shoulder where the threads end that stops the nut from pinching the bushings, but when you put in bearings they're a tish narrower. put the washer on the outside (or far inside) of the shaft to allow the tension against the inner race like the 1/10 scale cars use.

I just measured one and it's 4mm ID and 5mm OD. I think they came either with the bearing set or possibly with the new axle pins.
