Default gearing and setup help for vendetta TC

Hello all, I just ordered a new reedy 8000kv system to put in my vendetta tc and was wondering what a good gearing combo to start out with would be. Also can anybody give some good base line set up to start with for indoor carpet track running hard duratrax foams. also if there are any mods that need to be done let me know. I have not even bought the lipos for this car yet but i have seen both 2 and 3 cell lipos which would be better with this set up. will the stock steering servo be ok or do i need to upgrade it too? i am a true newbie to indoor carpet racing but been racing 1/8th scale buggy nitro, mt nitro,mt electric, and 1/10th electric truck (slash, sc10). so I don't mind spending the time to learn or the money to get better so any and all help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

shannon

Cancel that order for the Reedy BL system and get a Mongoose. That or the Reedy ESC with an Ammo 28x35 3900kv motor.
You WILL NOT be able to find gears to fit the shaft on a smaller motor like that. You need a motor with either a 2.3 or 3.2mm shaft.

As far as setup help.....there is a dedicated Detta TC thread, but if you don't feel like wading through all of the garbage in there......just shoot me a PM and I'll give you a few different options.
