Default Mini-T Steering Slop

Hey, all. I just purchased the Exotek MBX kit for my Mini-T and it is sweet!! A typical Exotek kit....nothing but the best!! Anyway, my only problem with the buggy is the slop in the steering rack. I've tried modding the stock steering rack and I've also tried a Hot Racing aluminium rack and tried a few other modifications with that as well.....to no avail. I've still got a lot of slop in the steering and 90% of it is in the rack assembly. What parts and/or modifications are you guys using to help reduce or eliminate the slop? Thanks!!

Troy.

I use a GPM graphite link with the brass bushings in it. Also I run a rubber band from the left steering link ball cup through the chassis to the right side steering link ball cup. This all seems to add stability.

Don't use one that is stretched to the max or it can load too much stress on the servo. The ones I use are stretched but only slightly when installed.

I was looking at those the other day, but I hadn't heard any feedback about them. For $13, I think I'll try one. They look like a much better design. Thanks!!

for the DP drag link, tried from the photos in the pdf to figure out how it works.

Starting from a stock front end, do I need longer ball studs or just keep the originals?

I'd love to see photos of your MXB when it's finished and painted!
