YEY, posting links works after 10 posts!
Again the specs:
Servo: Hitec HS-82MG
ESC: Nosram 2007 edition brushless/brushed
Receiver: FRSky V8R4 2.4GHz
Radio: Ko Propeo Esprit II modified with a FRSky V8HT GHz module
Motor: brushed that came with kit
Battery: Rhino 750mAh 2S
Certainly more than enough power for a 10x4 meter garage!

I hope they can move more units this time... Serpent should have a look at this design by Ivan

If carpet was more convenient, I’d consider one to just mess around with. But I’m seeing that carpet will be a limited racing surface for me going forward.

I see this release the same as I saw the original. Kind of dead before launch.
There really isn't anything that stands out to me in the design. It looks built to a price, and very limited in feature set. The biggest factor is scale. There is little to no 1/24 scale interest. 1/28 has a lot of traction right now, and the design is way beyond a simple platform like this. Simple designs are not bad, but I just don't see anything of interest here. No dampers or spring of any sort in the rear.
Too large for the majority of 1/28 style tracks, and too small for 1/10 and 1/12 tracks.
The adaptation that Ivan did with the old car was quite good, showing that it would be easy to transition the base design to the more popular scale.

Got these for the kids to mess around with, but unfortunately they are making great paper weights at the time. 3 months and still waiting on Serpent to figure out the servo reverse issue.
