Smile Lifepo4 battery for 1/18 1/12 car and receiver battery

Some beginning racers start to use LiFePo4 Hard case 6.4V 2500 mah 25C -30C in Janpan
Feedback :
much more safety for overcharge and overdischarge no blast no fire , It is really good for new racers

people get idea for using Lifepo4 battery for receiver batteries to apply to the gas powered R/C cars and for 1/12 car 1/18 car Because lifepo4 Voltage is lower ,the 1/12th is more slower and easiest to drive, even 1/18th too
but we have to use a different case , more little than lipo hard case

about receiver's batteries and transmitter's batteries using Lifepo4, the discharge current is higher and the voltage out is lower. but about receiver, I don't know the voltage amount in out when the battey is full charged, but if the receiver can works with that voltage, we have the solution because the R/C guy doesn't need to buy the voltage regulator.

if the voltage regulator is needed, can we can do it ?
produce a mini hard-case plastic-box and put it inside the box.
do a plastic box to put inside the voltage regulator and the LiFePo4 battery

Maybe could be the only one in the global R/C market with lifepo4

I think they run at 6Volts? So you shouldnt need a receiver pack of any kind. Probably just a higher kv motor than someone running a a lipo. Sounds interesting, and my charger TP-610 just happens to charge Lifepo4s .

I would ask for optional smaller packs in length than you even show as there is no reason to emulate a 5 or 6 cell nimh. Example: Under 80mm in length. That way we can put the larger electronics on the chassis for low center of gravities.

(For anyone trying to figure out what we are talking about, these are the same tech idea as A123 cells)

thanks for your nice post
2S LiFePo4 is 6.4 V but voltage will drop to 6V after few seconds as you said and don't need a receiver pack, thanks for you are interesting in our new item
please kindly check some of dimensions here for Lifepo4 battery (Approx):
the dimension of hard case lifepo4 for racing cars : length 85 mm width: 29mm thickness :18mm

the dimension of hard case lifepo4 for 1/12 racing cars : length 46 mm width: 45mm thickness :23mm

the dimension of lifepo4 soft packs for receivers :
length 84 mm width: 27.5mm thickness :15.8mm

please advice and shall be very happy for hear from you and will carefully consider any proposals from you ....

I only run 1/18th. So you will need to inquire in the other areas separately on this forum.

We could deal with two pack sizes though..

""mm Length x 34mm Width x 20mm Height

Where length is:
  • Under 78mm (80mm+ too long ) and 6.4V for racers.
  • Under 100mm but with higher mah and 3 cell (9.6V). for Bashers.

The rules may be enforced shortly for plastic shelled packs.

Can anyone else speak up in here?

No. For racing, we purposely use less long packs. We can put electronics in front of it then to balance the car and lower the center of gravity because we can put the receiver or speed control in front versus on top of the servo or upper deck. Bashers, can use longer packs because they arent worried about their balance or center of gravity. They also like to go uncontrollably fast and run for longer times. Hence why I mentioned 2 pack dimensions and voltage/mah.

Does anyone have a picture available to show them what Im meaning?

Hello!

I have emailed you off your website a few times with no return email. I would like more info on the 1/16 LifePo4 batteries.

I currently am running 2s 18650 cells, nice, but fit is terrible...
