Default Micro Rs4 Threadrizlle...

hahaha

just got a micro rs4 in a trade.....its pretty hopped up but it does need a lil work to get it smooth n tuned so i can race it in the mini mod class at hobbytownusa. i just ordered a body, front and rear ball diffs for it.....the rear diff is a lil tricky getting it right? n e tips....im running a mamba 5400 with 20t pinion

ill get some pics up later.....i dont wat chassis this is can n e one tell me? also how do i mount the battery, i plan on using mini-t 6 cell packs....rite now im using velcro to hold the battery under the top plate, but is seems a lil to loose???

hmmm tires, i got a bunch of tires in the trade but actually only 1 good set of foams....firm front and soft rears but it seems to have more front traction...too much, wat would be the right combo for asphalt racing?

ok i was doig a lil research...the chassis is a penguin rc chassis i believe its the 3500 lm kit....i also discovered i have a penguin rc servo mount and rear oil shock mount.....i also got the 18r shock mounted on the rear

ok heres a few pics of my micro rs4......got a merc. CLK body, hpi rear ball diff, and gh front balldiff comming in the mail.....

would i gain more rear traction if i ditch the mamba and go with a 370 motor? im thinking more weight on the rear axle would add more rear traction????

Sick looking MRS4!
If you want more weight in the back, you can try the 540 motor route.
When I was doing speed runs, the MRS4 with the 540 motor would spin out a lot less
then my brushless ones.

General tip: If you want more rear traction, run a front anti roll bar or buy some softer tyres.

Also loosen the rear diff a little.

hmm idk bout running a 540 motor runtimes would be destroyed, plus i dont think it would fit on the rear axle, i kno wits been done but i was trying to installed a 400 size motor and the can was too long and would rub the tires......BTW i plan on raacing not just doing speed runs

naw not any more but it's pretty simple drill 2 small holes through the upper arms the connect the steering knuckles. Run the paper clip from 1 arm through the body posts into the other arm. That's it
