Need some info before we can answer. What type of racing; oval, onroad, offroad? How big is track? What surface, carpet, dirt, other? How long are the races?

Its with the standard kit Buggy Tyres and just bashing around on and off road, its not for racing.

I would go as low as you can go. 10 or 11 by 60. I just put a 6900 in mine and it is way too fast for the indoor offroad course nearby me. I'm currently at 13x55 and have my radio throttled back to 60% or so right now. I'll be changing the ratio asap.

Either that or just make sure you cut some flaps into the body to promote airflow.
