Default From Mini-T to RC18R: Parts Compatibility

Notice: I was unsure about whether or not this post belongs in the RC18R thread, so I posted in this area. I hope that is ok.

A while back, I bought the Losi Mini-T, and along with the Hitec RS-55 servo, a Team Orion Baja motor, and oil-filled shocks for it. I have gotten away from bashing around the backyard, and am interested in more street stuff, thus an RC18R. I am looking to spend as little money as possible, and wonder whether these parts would be compatible with the Rc18R.

I see that the RC18R's turnbuckles are solid plastic, and not tune-able. Could I use the Mini-T turnbuckles and put them on the RC18R?

Thanks ahead of time.

Ok. Thanks for your view on things. I'll try it out at first, and see what happens. I do not intend for brushless anytime soon, so the stock ESC should be fine for any 370 motor right?

Any tips in gearing, for the best overall?
