I saw a mini slash at my local hobby shop yesterday, I admit I like them but I had two problems - the shocks are PUNY, I mean it, they are really really small compared to the rest of the ride. And another, the big heavy motor is positioned pretty high up, I'm not sure how that will affect handling.
Ok first problem I had today is with the shock adjusters, the plastic threaded part to add stiffness or softness to the spring.. The front ones went sideways... Nee to get another package of those and double them up together so they wont do that.. But otherwise yeah it's fast.. Gonna get a new set of the crt .5 rims and bowtie tires 2.2's
ahhhhhh,,, hummm I got some here just havent tried em but Im sure theirs a way to make them work,, Sounds like it just needs a spacer or thicker wheel hex.. anyone got any crt.5 wheel hexes? If so please try those and see.
Okk I think I am going to try to shave down the back of one of the crt.5 rims and mount it then,, ya cant shim it or anything as the threads dont come too far out of the rim to get the nut on that good but shaving down the rim it'll work perfect I think,, these are some stout rims so I think they will hold up once done..
can some one give me some info on the mini revo/slash electronics
1-how many kv is the motor and what size is the can and shaft
2-how many amps is the stock esc rated for
i think the mini slash looks bad ass,but in reality im going with the revo as it will be more fun to drive and beat around...i might start racing 1/18 scale!

OK now my rear threaded spring stiffner thingy went sideways like the front ones did. Do those are junk so be careful guys. Only thing it has went over is some of those plastic skate board ramps ya get from Toys R US ... and this was by my 3 yr old... NEXT and more important,, I have been running it in training mode only for my boy as anything more will be too fast and FULL charge it lasts maybe 10 minutes and the battery gets up to 170 to 180????? Is that right??? When it starts to slow down I cut it off and throw it back on the charger and charger it at 0.3 it takes forever to charge it but I want it to last,, back of the battery says to charge it at that.. And no I'm not using the stock charger. For $308 this sucker should last longer than 10 dang minutes??? And in learning mode!
Sweet! I'm just about to go to the hobbyshop to get me one. They have had 2 mini revos for the past 2 times I have gone in there(yesterday and friday) and today I am walking out with a box in my hand!!!
