Does hurt yah wallet a little but then you do get a BL system in there.

The Transmitter is trash like always but with all these new lazy RTR ppl joining the hobby, thats what the masses want. And traxxas needs to make money.

Ever own/run a BL Detta ST rollin 2.2s? Probably not.

I'm not trying to start a flame war here (and I don't have my Mini Revo yet), but the heavy weight and longer wheelbase of the 2 will draw many comparisons. I hope there's a class at my LHS just to see how they stack up in real world racing.

Without those lazy new RTR people, there'd be no future for the hobby my friend.

Slash is in stock on Tower, I want to order one. Does anyone have a discount code so I can get it cheaper?

Also, are the steel driveshafts essential?

My only complaint is a little bind in the diffs that you can hear when you are going slow or wheeling it with you hands. Not really a "grind" sound, but a sound you don't like hearing.

But as with any RTR, you need to check the gear mesh before running it. My mesh was fine, but I've seen RTRs with horrible mesh from the factory that causes damage on the first run.

010TD will save you $60 on International orders Hide.
010TE will give you $75 off but you'll need to spend over $300US

Thomas, yes I used to race a little bit but my shift at work doesn't allow me to anymore. Mostly just bashing nowadays. Hopefully, I'll be able to get in a couple of races this summer.
I just got back from the Hobby Shop and the Mini Revo won't be in stock till next week sometime. My price is $360 Canadian which is steep. If the owner doesn't give me a deal on it, then I will order online. Stormer Hobbies has them for $259US and Tower for $289 but I have a $60 off coupon. You might have yours before I do......I would like to hear your feedback as well. More YouTube videos are coming up all the time and it seems pretty durable, even on 4S lipo's (16.8v peak). I may try this setup and if it blows up then I have a Neu/Quark 65a combo I can use for it (capable running 5S).
