I will be picking up my 1 1/6 Revo tomorrow. I will be running on 3s. What mods upgrades should I be making on the truck in order to withstand this added power?

Thanks

def. get a wheelie bar , thicker shock oil and a set of new arms just incase you break them , also make sure you install the optional pinion or you will be blowing your motor or speed control.

Default 1/16 erevo tire setup

I have heard that crt.5 wheels will work for the mini revo. What other tires and wheels would be good for racing?thanks

The CRT.5 uses 1/10th buggy rear rims and tires - so you have all sorts of options.

I need some help.

I am looking for dish wheel/tire combos that are not too expensive if anyone knows. The pine needles get stuck in the wheels and dish wheels helps keep them out.

I put on OFNA BBT Dish wheels with Stock Talon TIres on and although the tires look flat on the wheel instead of round, they seem bigger.

On problem though, When I tighten the bolt to the wheel it rubs agains the steering hub. The hex spacer is to thin to fill the hex slot in the wheel and th bolt pushes it against the hub.

I was recommended these wheels from someone here on the boards and they said it would fit with no problems. What can I do to stop the rubbing? I don't want to add a metal washer to space it because it may make it wobble. It makes the wheels stiff so when I spin it it doesn't spin freely.

What can I do?

Also do I need to have the tires glued on?
And one last thing, the tires look flat on the wheel, is this normal? The foam is in it by the way.

Driftwoof - from what I have read those wheels fit with no probs IF you have the alloy knuckles from HOT RACING. But also if you use a dremel or small die grinder and tack a couple of millimetres of the hex on the inside of the wheel, they don't rub and fit great! hope that helps.
