Default RC18R QC3 wiring question

Im soldering my stock silver can 18r motor to an LRP QC3 esc. Is it ok to just solder the skinny wires that come out of the motor to fat ones that come out of the speed control? Should I try to solder the fat wires directly to the motor or would that damage the motor? Which would be fastest (have least resistance) but not damage the motor?

2 big wires least resistance and less likely to melt the cable.
As long as you dont cook ur motor with ur Solder iron u good.
