Default Best 380 size brushless motor setup?

I'm looking for a fast and powerful 380 size brushless motor to put into a boat. What setup would have the power to push a 26" boat? Also can I run a 380 size brushless motor with a regular brushless ESC? I have a Novak 4 cell GTB that I would like to use and also run on 4 cells as well to keep things somewhat light. Any input would be great!

The motor that coems with the Mongoose.
This is the only motor that is 380 in size i think.

Mamba uses a 200 or 280 design

Reedy i think the can is 370 in size.

Now boat application i have not idea.

He was asking about 380 sized motors. I also don't know who this "torqrk" is, but if he's not a racer or basher.....he shouldn't be here.

There are also many, many other 380-400 sized sensorless brushless motor setups out there. Ammos, Neu, Aligns, Aons.....etc.

The GTB should work fine for the goose motors as long as it is sensored. Don't quote me on that though.....give Novak a call.

I think he meant towerck.
What are you after with this boat? You're limiting yourself with that ESC, IMO. If you just want something cheap, I'd go for something along the lines of a micro sidewinder ESC and for a motor, a feigao (put a clamp on it) or an aon, if I had to limit myself to a 380. I think a feigao 380-short goes for about 35 bucks right now. An aon/sidewinder combo can be found here. Then for a battery, a 2 cell lipo is going to weigh about the same as a 4 cell NiMH, soooo......

You know there IS a RC boating section on this site, right?

Yes it will, I use the Tekin RS with my Mongoose motor. Sensored/Sensorless 1/10th esc work fine with the minis. Their size is usually what keeps people from using them.
