I must try and get to your track. I am a total beginner so when would the best time to practice be?

I have a Mini-Z MR02 and a few Xmods (yep I know Xmod are no good for racing).

I am retired so can make daytime if it is less busy.

I dropped by the store today. The track is coming on nicely.

I found Grant very helpful and will be getting a Mini-Z MR02 MM 2.4ghz car and controller from him in the week. His prices are very reasonable.

I am hoping to become a fixture at the track and being able to get lots of practice in

Wish I could make it out on Tuesday nights or any weekday for that matter but weekdays are weekdays...it's just tough.

I was almost in Cali this week.....customer postponed training......

Know Tim?? I'm not sure who he is---but It's been a LONG time since I could drive a hot lap in RC!!!! I've been out of RC cars since 94--but having found Mini Z--I'm BACK!!! Grant's helping me with car setup--and tomorrow I'll pick up my modified Lynx Hitec Radio so I can drive the 2.4 cars we built properly!!
I can keep up with Grant with my stockers--driving with my thumb on the throttle--but until I get a "proper" radio with left hand drive--I'm not sure what I can do with the little modified cars!! But these things are WAY COOL!!
With a few weeks practice--I'll be running "hot laps" with anyone!!!
