what a great race we had this evening in the FIRST EVER "MINI-Z HAND OUT BATTERIES RACE.....
Qualifying for The A-Main:
super fast guy Drew B aka Drewski came out after a 2 month sabbatical from mini-z running the official PNracing 70t PanCar earning the TQ with a 46-8:09.046 followed by Mister Philippines ,Robert I who has been in the Philippines for almost a month running the ATOMOC VDS II.....then came Bong, Kalani, Doug, Alex, and Bruce

The A-Main:
The grid was set and on the long tone....off the line into the first few corners Bong was to come around on the frist lap as the leader.
on lap 4 Drew moved into the lead and never looked back leaving Bong and Kalani to dice it up for second place position and as they were mixing it up Robert I had moved in to position to capitalize on any mistakes.....
and on lap 38 it Robert I moved into 2nd place and ran it to the finish
and Kalani finishing 3rd followed by Bong, Doug, Bruce, and Alex

Grant thanks for doing a great job & organizing a fun & satisfying race day. This a top notch Mini-Z track & a smooth running racing program. Anyone who has a Mini-Z owes it to themselves to come out on Saturdays and have a Mini-Z blast! Those who don't yet then get one at Matsushimas, he'll set you up I'll try to make it as many times as schedule allows myself. BTW thanks for the batteries too, they work great!

You are doing a great job in So Cal keeping Mini-Z alive. I have to make a trip down there to race sometime.

Where is everybody? All I know is Grant has a great track and a great attitude. The environment is very friendly and his wife cooks up a mean pizza pocket. If you have a mini-z and are thinking about racing but are afraid that it's localized or your skills aren't up to par, come and give it a try. Everybody is very cool and I'm sure Grant will put some time aside for new drivers. I drive all the time and I still need help.

Don't feel intimidated, just come down and have a good time.

Hey Grant, I talked to the kids and it's on for Tuesday nights. It's gonna be a sad day when they start beating me, which will probably be in about two more weeks!!..................great.
