Matsushima's is open to the public We are open
Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 10 am to 9pm
and on Sunday. 12 pm to 6 pm

ON MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY(BY RESERVATIONS ONLY)

We have begun our regular saturday racing....racing starts @5pm sharp

Annual Membership Fee is $40.00 (track fee included on sign up day
as a member you will receive 1 day a month F.O.C.

Referal Perk is an ADDITIONAL practice day F.O.C. for every new member signed up referd by you

Member daily rate is $10.00 per visit
Non Member rate is $20.00 per visit

alright guys...week one is thru.....had an awesome time in spain...we ended up 2nd in the 12 hr endurance race just 11 laps behind the leaders.... hosted by TRP SPAIN....i have to give a huge thanks to Alex of TRP, David, Uri, PN Racing drivers and my team mates for this event for the education of a life time
these guys are top notch drivers of mini z.... and i hope to use what i have learned from them in the upcoming weeks..
i am now in sweden for the first PNWC Sweden Qualifier which will start on Friday
then back to the states for the RCX PNRacing SoCal Regionals....

Hey Grant, I came to visit at the regionals at Kenon a while back at Joe's invitation and met a bunch of the guys out there...am I reading Kenon's page right, that your track has pretty much been made their club racing spot? I finally ended up getting my Mini-Z all upgraded the way I wanted it and now I don't know where to race it! It looks like your place is only about 10 miles east of Kenon, which isn't horrible from Santa Clarita...so if you have stock racing on Saturdays too, I might try to come out and see if my upgrades did anything to help me drive the thing!

yeah now i guess my place is the only place to race mini-z in socal now.....
i will be headed back to cali on monday.....getting ready for rcx next weekend...

Hope you had fun in Sweden. This is Alex from RC Kenon days...just double checking, so looks like Saturdays is Club race day but assuming this Saturday is excepted due to RCX race?? Also I know you guys are huge on pan car but there is still ASC racing right?

hey alex....yeah we run asc 70t pan 70t and mod
this weekend is rcx....but every sat after that will be racing

sounds good. I may see you guys racing at RCX if i make it out there for a couple of hours. One last question...full mini z hobby shop on site or do we need to come in all stocked up?

i have pretty much all the pn parts nessasary...and i can special order anything

Congrats to all of the drivers who attended esp. the Matsushimas Pacific MZR club drivers
Chad Nelson for sweeping all 3 classes
Chad Nelson 1st and Lukas Tobing for his second place in 70t sedan
and a Pacific MZR sweep of the PanCar 70t class with Chad N, Brian D, and Bong R
I had an awesome time @ rcx this past weekend.....despite having a DNF due to a steering wheel stop breaking...i definitely had the car to win...my fastest lap of the weekend being an 8.3 as i think i was able to do a 8.4 in the one of the heats i think....i was able to TQ @52 laps in 8:2.......seconds or something like that....
the track had good grip..... i felt good going in to the main but got anxious going into the first turn off the start an stuffed it allowing chad nelson to get by which was the biggest mistake i had made all weekend
the next few laps were easy to put together an i was immediately on the tail of chads pancar and in typical grant style i got pushy....trying to force the pass but chad kept the door shut....i saw a brief moment that he opened the door and i stuffed it in but chad shut the door on me and i stuffed it in to the wall
as i backed up and turned out i felt it..... that little bit of give in the steering wheel when i turned it to the left......and a few laps later i was able to get in to the lead but i have to turn left with care.... and then it happened SNAP....that was it.....i tried to go on but i just couldnt get it done.....i was all over the track.... so i pulled off in turn 1 and called it a day
it is all a learning experience.... lookin foward to the next one

Hey Grant, I had a blast at the W.C.C. Everybody I met was really cool and the track was awesome. I don't mean any disrespect by this but it's kind of nice to hear that a pro has the same problems as a rook like myself. It can get really frustrating sometimes when your car is working perfect during practice and then a spec of dust lands on the rear quarter panel and all hell brakes loose!!! I absolutely love these wretched little machine but they are so temperamental.

Everybody needs to bow down to Joe Chen for donating his time. He added so much to the race, thank god he came out to announce. If I had to listen to the automated voice any longer I think I would have died from boredom.

Any way let me know when you plan on setting up for the local charity race we were talking about, I think that's a great idea and I'm 100% in!!!
