I think the duratrax vendetta tc is your best bet. I don't own one but from all my research on 1/18 cars its the best bang for your buck.

I would think that the Xray M18 would be your best choice IMO if your running it indoors on carpet. It has proven over the years as the best handeling true 1/18th TC available. If you prefer bashing around up and down the driveway or on your local parking lot, then the AE 18R would be the best bang for the $$, although it isn't a true 1/18th scale....more like 14th or 16th scale, but who cares.....there a lot of fun.

I dont have any experience with the vendetta TC, but I had the ST offroad version, and that was by far the best offroad 1/18 I have ever had, and I have had them all. It has the best handling, most durability, and always tracks great with its full size steering servo.

So, if the vendetta TC follows in these footsteps, I would say it is your all around best shot.

What surface and space do you want to run it in? That will be the main consideration for people giving you options. Also, if your going to go brushless and lipo. Why would you want a RTR?
