I don't have an opinion of the car as of yet as it has not been driven. Once I am able to drive the car and run it on the track, I will be able to devise an opinion.

The RC18R is a solid car when hopped up.

I have updated the photos on the first page. The photos aren't good but give you an idea of the car setup.

I have yet to drive the car and the car has not been fully set up. The car feels rock solid and aesthetically I am pleased.

very clean setup you got there I really like the foot print of the 1/10 Tekin ESCs. They look smaller than the 1/18 esc

Thanks, the esc is about the same size as the Mongoose... Actually it's a tad smaller and a much better esc.

I have almost the same 2 escs on different 1/18 cars, a mongoose and Tekin R1. Its just alot easier with the solder posts on the Tekin ESCs. I'm hoping to pick up an RS to clean up the amount of wires

You can clean up the wiring on the Novak, you just need to be creative.

It is definitely simpler to get a cleaner look with the Tekin, though mounting everything cleanly on this 1/18 was a bit difficult.

Thanks, yes I cut down some bullet connectors and soldered them to the esc posts. I was trying to figure out how to make the Novak brushless wires appear a bit cleaner and this was my solution.

Be careful though. One good smack on that side will rip those off.
