Since you have the RC18T now you should get the RPM arms and towers. Those will easily hold up to abuse

Buy some Robinson Racing pinions since they are the most durable.

I have used my rc18b once on a 10th scale indoor track and have broken a front shock shaft and a rear shock shaft. Seems to be very durable. I am running a tekin mini rage 6900 and 3s lipo. Insanely fast. Only other problem was my dogbone feel out along with the spring in the outdrive.

So I came up on another RC18t last night. I found it on Ebay for $40.00 & it's in really nice condition. It already had aluminum shocks, arms & CVD's & I didn't see a single scratch on the bottom. The original owner said he never drove it outside.

So now I got 2 of these little guy's which means now I can have a basher & a shelf queen to boot. Can't wait for the new one to arrive. From the auction it seemed like the owner didn't explain everything that may already be done to it. So I'm hoping to take off the body & maybe get lucky and see some other enhancements.

PS, I have a mini LRP ESC w/ reverse. Does anyone know if these have a motor limit? And if so what engine do ya'll recommend running with this ESC?

Not sure on the turn limit but my cousins be using the Anderson 380 motor that came with his Shark and it was fast enough for racing but probably won't keep you satisfied when bashing. You might want to look at the Mamba Micro Pro (brushless) or Novak Mongoose (bigger than Mamba but watch the temps).

If the esc is a quantum you can use any mini motor....
for a brushed motor you can use a reedy 19t or a reedy 17t
they will give you awesome performance....
Check out Team Scream Racing John Cravotta might have some blueprinted mini motors which haul a$$....
The trinity cobalts can be faster but they are finicky...
run hot, brushes hang etc...if you arent a motor man seriously stay away from them....

Good lookin out. I'll make sure to stay away from the trinity products. I do have the basic knowledge about brushed motors. But I don't have the specific tools needed to keep them in tip top shape. I really should get my hands on a Lathe & an alignment tool.

i didnt read through the rest of the post, but in my own opinion and from what ive watched, the losi brushless systems suck. sorry losi i like your stuff but i have to help out.
i have seen 3 losi brushless systems catch on fire within the same day they were opened from their package. so i would say to stay away from the mini brushless systems from them. novak, tekin and mamba, would be one of the three that i would pick.
sorry again losi, but your mini brushless systems need work.
