What do I need for the 1:10 tire conversion on a RC18MT

and what are the ups and downs to puting a 1:10 tire on?

All you will need is the tires/wheels and some adapters like THESE or THESE. I have 2 sets of the alloy ones, but either will do fine. As far as advantages/disadvantages the 10th scale tire will probably balloon less and with a stiffer sidewall your shocks will do more work as the tires flax less. I have run them and they are great.

I use the Trinity adaptors.

With the larger wheel comes higher speeds too.
