Default RC18T Truggy?

What do I need to add the wing to my RC18T?
Of course the wing, but what about the rest?
Do I need to change the rear shock tower? Modify the truck body?
Thanks for the help guys...

You can buy a RC18b wing mount and it mounts up with a few screws

Get a 3Racing wing, and rc 18b wing mounts. You will have to modify your stock towers a little, but it can be done. If you use the shock tower from an rc18b, you will have the perfect mounting positions and still all of your shock adjustability. You will just need to make a mounting hole in the middle of your body in the rear. You will also need to trim the rear of your body some to clear the wing mounts. RPM shock towers will work too with a little modding.

Several ways of doing this.
You can buy the associated wing mount part #(ASC 21428) and use the buggy rear tower. This is best if you have not mounted the body ans you will only have 1 hole in the rear to keep the body on instead of 2.

My favorite way. I use the Duratrax Vendetta wing mount and wing with my 18t tower. You will need to take a piece of plastic or whatever and make a support for that mount but IMO it is the sturdiest mount available.

There's a lot of guys that modify the wing and wing mounts to work with the truck tower as well but I don't care for that way and it really doesn't let you use the better quality wings without adding more holes to them.

Whatever way you choose you will need to cut the back of the truck body to clear the wing mounts.
