nice cars the both of you have. Mine looks like a toy comparatively!
The atomic ball diffs cost more than twice the 3racing equivalent at US$25.90... (As compared to US$11.50)

Just noticed you've got a 9200kv motor in there, do you run 3s with that?

trust me artie , you will get what you pay for with the 3racing diffs. They SUCK.I went through 2 sets of the 3 racing diffs then I even tried the metal gear diffs from the mini-inferno 09 gas cars. BL power chewed them up in less than 4 race days. The atomic diffs went over 6 months before I even had to rebuild them. The metal input gears and the hardened drive cups from the 09 are the shit though. However the 3 racing shocks are just as nice as the kyosho oil shocks for 1/2 the price.

kyosho seems to have discontinued parts for the mini inferno.... is that true? If it is, it's really sad...

I have been running a 2s lipo with it. Once the LHS gets some smaller 3s lipos then I will be running them.

the mi is a great car needs some help but a great car. i have the mongoose with a 16t pinion and the car is a monster. for $150 the mongoose really isnt much more than many other bl systems. i mean you're talking about $50-$60 really not much. then i would go for the multiplex digi 4 polo servo. that servo is as fast an as smooth as my jr 9000s. you can get ball diff or the 09 diffs, either way they both work and are better than the stock ones. threaded oil shocks are a nice add on as well. the best thing you can get is the kmrc conversion kit. cause with a bl kit the center diff slips all day long even with the delrin locked slipper and you cant put the power to the ground. all in all though once you've taken these steps the car is amazing i run mine on our 10th scale track and it runs on the same pace as the bigger cars. anything you want to do to the car after doing these things could just make it better. almost forgot the proline cime fighter tires are perfect for the car. those are the things i did to my car and i love it just giving you some pointers. i've made the mistakes and paid way more than i should of if i only did these things first.

the kmrc replaces the center diff with a slipper but u need either ball or the 09 diff for the front and rear. U also want to upgrade the dog bones and diff cups. I went with the mip ones. After all that u can use any hop ups like towers, arms, turnbuckels whatever u want.

Here is a link for the KMRC chassis. They aren't that hard to find if you know where to look.......... I have seen them listed on ebay every now and then....

Which are the first things to go bust when i upgrade to brushless? I'm trying to avoid getting ball centre diffs cuz they're gonna get replaced when i eventually change to the KM-RC chassis anyway. Does the KM-RC chassis accommodate for a motor placement like mine? (Rear right)
