The race is deffinately a go. We do have a number of people that are going to run both stock and mod pan. I plan to run open 1/18 4wd and open 1/14 on Sunday, open buggy and truck on Sat.
Hand out for stock pan will be the Robitronic 300.

Wanted to re-state a couple of things. Remember to check the underside of your chassis (especially off-road guys). Make sure you have no screws or other sharp pieces sticking out. It is a track rule there, that no knobby tires be used (a wise rule to preserve the life of the rather expensive carpet). They also have a rule against Paragon Ground Effects. That's what I usually run, so I have had to try several others.. Jack the Gripper is the best alternative I have found. I ran it there yesterday with very good results.

Hobby-Sports has a good supply of Jack The Gripper and Niftec on hand.
You can sign up at the race, but pre-registration is good.
I've included the flyer and rules.. Will retrieve the Monster rules and post later..

These are the Monster rules;

Length 265mm max
wheelbase185 mm max
width 210mm max
monster truck bodies only, no truggy wings
tires must be rubber 60mm minimum
ground clearence must have minimum ground clearence of 30mm at center of chassis
must have center differential
motor open
batteries open

It's a tough call comming up with an accurate deffinition of a 'Monster' truck.
Some manufacturers have simply changed the wheels/tires and body, on their stadium trucks and call them Monsters.

If i read correctly, regular mini trucks can be wider than mini monster trucks? How many people are signed up and who are the big sponsors?

By stating it must have a center diff that makes it more or less a Mini LST class or so it would seem...

my guess it was done to eliminate the confusion some manufacturers have caused by calling something a MT, like AE did with the RC18MT, by just bolting on a set of larger wheels -- and make it more of a real MT class like the larger scales
I think the MiniInfernos and PTI (sp?) trucks would fit within the guidlines too

Just curious why you feel the need to SPAM every single thread in the mini forums with a copy of the same post every couple of days?

This thread is about the "NORTH AMERICAN MINI CHAMPIONSHIPS" -- not your race or series your pimping. If you want to announce something start a thread, otherwise your SPAMMING is getting quite annoying and is just rude.
