Thanks
I did not change the thread.

As I keep saying, and as I think duneland was going, was the idea of allowing some "wiggle room" for growth of the whole scale and to allow room for the inclusion of more vehicles and modifications.

Let's call them all mini's and go racin' boys

How many have been banned from the one18th site? I just found out that I am one of those! Not sure why, since I have not caused any trouble over there. I have only been on that site a few times, and posted just a few things, without being even remotely critical of anyone/place/or thing!.
No great loss I guess.

Duneland, now we have strictly RC for the indoor track, you must count me in for the 18th scale...or may be I can borrow a RECOIL for the 14th scale as well....let us know the CLASS and RULES configuration.

I also was banned from one18th. Don't know why? I just posted a question sometime ago about the Tekin B1 and got a few good replies.
Last month I went back and it said I was banned.

OK - back to the race in January.

When can we expect to see the rules and sign up information? We have a lot of people interested in going from the BRP Ohio Racing Series, and would like some more details - please.

I am sorry for the delay, but I have had a lot of irons in the fire for the last couple weeks. I will get all those things accomplished in the next couple of days if possible. As far as the 1/18 pan car class goes... Stock will be 4 cell with a 300 size motor (likely a hand out, will try to firm up the supplier on Monday. If it turns out to NOT be a hand out for this class, I will post the required motor by mid-week). Any motor/battery combo for mod. I'll post the dimensions and such in a couple days, but there won't be anything unusual there. Thanks for your patience.

So Mod with any motor and battery could be brushless with any number of cells in a lipo? Are you sure?

Absolutely. Put whatever you think you can hook up, in there. You can put a ballistic 2 cell Lipo/bl set up in the car. If you think you can control more, then go for it! There is a wall at the end of the straight, that should contain all the debris.

One big race I once attended, they had a huge 50 gallon garbage can a broom and dustpan and brush prominently and strategically placed at the end of the straightaway, though I thought it odd at upon first noticing it.
But laughed at the start of the first quali when there was the typical first corner melee, and parts a-flying, and one major hunk of one car flew straight into the can.
