It looks like it has 3* toe in the rear and Im thinking of trying either the 1.5 or 0 plates from thetoyz for my buddys track because the car pushes a little...I cant get a good reading on the front camber because the front end is so sloppy now...

in looking at my car it looks like it is zeros all around, although there might be a tiny bit of neg camber going on, 1 degree at most, the rear block is 0 degrees.

i had thought of getting adjustable turnbuckles but setting the stuff seems like it would be pure hell, would need some MIT laser precision stuff to get it right it seems. the stock ones (fixed plastic ones) seem to do the job just fine.

See you guys out there.Hope all your cars are dialed.I'm gonna chance on getting a couple more races on my used foams, hope it''ll handle good cause they are starting to cone out a bit.Sounds like there is going to be some comp in 18r spec and a few of us i'm sure will be fighting thru lap traffic.

Did you say a while back that you have a new body your going to run?Talked with mikey yesterday and in the 18r point series they may just limit the motors being stock, everything else goes, so if anybody is running mod motors they'll be running in micro mod.I'm fine with the mod motor guys running in spec, but it is good when we all have the same top end going down the back stretch.Besides,my car handles great with the stock power and if i did mod it i would be chasing set-up once again which can be a headache.

GPM aluminum outdrives. put them on today as well along with the toys steel diff gears. outdrives seem okay so far. i put the collars on them just to be on the safe side, the front ones wouldnt stay on.

Now here i will be blunt, the only thing that SUCKS about the gpm aluminum outdrives that i have found so far is the aluminum nut that comes with them.
It popped its threads (stripped out) several turns before the spring bottomed out when building them up, for this i suggest taking the aluminum nut to the hobby shop and get a true steel locknut to replace it. you will need the 2mm size locknut and dont worry about it being shorter, it really is better that way. once you get the steel 2mm locknuts to replace the aluminum ones take the aluminum ones and throw them away or burn them or bury them in the middle of a large field never to be found again, they really do suck that bad.

Hope this helps.
here is a further review of the gpm outdrives. got the brushless on there and within 5 packs they were severely notched by the dogbones. i am still using the plastic dogbones and have yet to break one with the brushless on there. this will give an idea of how easily these outdrives notch.

Also i had noticed recently that the rear diff had been slipping and it has been feeling like there was some warping going on with it. So tonight i took it apart to do a rebuild to it. the part where the diff rings lock in place was stripped out and the rings were able to spin freely with the diff assembled and tightened.

I do not reccomend these outdrives for anyone, the amount and various ways these have failed makes them in my book completely unreliable.
