I agree the bodies on these things won't make any difference running stock. Running mod the Exotek body is great. Here's a quick video of my car Lamar took on Saturday with that body. It's amazingly stable. It changes direction well and holds a good straight line at speed. My driving was kind of sucking in this run so no laughing. But it'll just give you an idea of the handling of the body. And personally I think it's pretty bad ass looking. The car is fairly stock. A few upgrades to the car and changes to the setup. And fully upgraded electronics with a Novak Mongoose and a 10.5.

Very nice driving. Car looked hooked up and smooth. Now all we need is to get Lemar's HD camera and film both of you doing some runs.

Is this in San Diego?

Thanks. He was filming Ray and I for a while but I guess the camera wasn't working. And it was at Pound-It Raceway in San Diego. It's a start up track Ray Ramirez is working to get going. It's dialed! You can check out this thread for some more info.

Any of the 18R bodies will look out of proportion as the car is not quite to scale.

Thanks.
Camera was working. I thought I had pressed the record button but when I looked at the screen I hadn't done so.

Right there it was way too high at 7mm. I hadn't cut down the springs yet to fit the shorter shocks and couldn't get any lower. That's been fixed now though.

I run an 1800 LiPo. You can run a little larger LiPo if you want.

Jon's car is definitely stable and looks very good on the track. It could be the body?

I had a bit of time today and decided to rewire my 18R, here is the car as it now sits:
