OK guys. I put the 3 Racing shocks on the car. I reall like them a lot and the car was really good today. but I need a little stiffer spring than the black ones that come with the shocks. The springs that come with them are considerably shorter than the stock AE ones. Will AE prings work on them? I can't seem to find a 3Racing spring kit or even option springs anywhere.

All you had to do was look at my car yesterday man. I wish that we could have had a solid run together but everytime I looked up, you were already out there. How many LiPos do you have and what size did you end up purchasing?

Thanks. Ran the car for the second time today. It's dialed. And with the Novak Mongoose and a 10.5 brushless it's ballistic down the straight too. I love these things. I never thought I'd say that but I do. One question though. Does anyone make a good metal gear servo for these things? I put the Hitec one in but it's a POS. (Like every single Hitec product I've ever had ) It randomly doesn't center itself and feels odd on the track from time to time. I actually like the feel of the stock servo but it's just too fragile. Any suggestions?

Good running today. I will have the short video here a bit later.

Jon, you should just hit me up at the track with your questions, lol. Do you have a budget?

It should be OK over very small bumps and minor jumps. If you really want an off road RC18, I'd suggest the 18T or 18B. Even though the 18R is a "Rally" car, I think it's much more suited to asphalt.

Anyone see this or know if it would fit an 18r?

It will not. Visit exotekracing.com and purchase the GTZ body. It is the most stable body for the 18R. I highly recommend this body for modified 18Rs.

I like the look of the Stratus/sedan bodies...the 350z looks a little cartoonie...The most stable setup I have found is with the Niterline body and using 10th scale hpi wing risers(small ones with 2-3mms sanded off) You can drive it in a straight line and shimmy the wheel back and forth and it stays controllable...thanks for the info, I was about to order it and find out the hard way...

unless ur running mod motor the body does not really seem to affect the handling.....with the stock motor i could not see the difference in bodies, but after installing the the mamba 5400 i can tell ill need a body that provides more downforce than the stock bodies
