Well if you are still interested or monitoring this thread after all this time! Yes Voodoo RC is going through Beta Testing right now. Incredibly delayed launch wouldn't you agree??
Yeah, not really relevant and there are much better sites out there for 1/18th scale RC. 18thscaleracing is very small, very narrow scoped, and seems to be extremely local. Anyone can get a dozen of their friends together and "build" a website on an old name. And no it is not just like the old site. It is missing about 350,000 pages. What really is going to kill it again is they (you) are relying on other forums for their memberships. This is the third site in a few days I have been on where someone has cross-posted about the 18thscaleracing site... It has been up and running for what 2 years, and has 10 members?
Voodoo on the otherhand is in Beta Testing, that was the topic. You do know exactly what it is, and who owned it, so your behavior is only going to serve to hurt your "new" site, not keep Voodoo from coming.
I actually pointed out that it was setup the same way as the old site....ie....vehicle specific forums with all kinds of sub-headings and whatnot, but that was your mistake.
I like Rctech....but the thread for each mini vehicle of major interest is hundreds of posts long, if not longer. www.18scaleracing.com is by no means, my site
I do hope voodoo eventually gets up and running and does have all of the old content as indicated......I was merely pointing newbie in another direction in addition too (or instead of should it not come to be) voodoo or any other mini specific forum.
yeah VooDoo is being set up by Mike, previous owner of one18th.com. I was talking to him about a month ago about the new site and such, no info as to when it'll actually be done. Said he's been very busy (although I've never talked to him when he WASNT busy, lol) so it may be a while before its in action.

I tried logging in with my username and pass but it said username/pass incorrect. When I tried the forgotten password link it sent me anemail that takes me back to the same login site that was giving me the errors, not a new site that asks for a password reset...

Wow, I did see my old pics in there. So the old data is in. Way to go M ! I hope that is not an legal issue with M.
