The great and powerful Rosario......

When are you planning on heading up there? I'll be up around 8 tomorrow and most of the day on Thursday.

That also goes for anyone planning on running a vendetta that needs setup help or any parts that Chris might not have in the shop.

Any local guys or travelers that might get in before Friday.....it'd be a good idea to get to the track as early in the week as possible as it'll just be silly on Friday......especially in the evening.

So hows the qualifying racing going for today? Is it over? Any pics or other so far?

Yep, I can check the standings on Madness, but you can get more of whats happening from participants.

Default Many thanks hey!

Easy 6hr drive back. No snow this time.

Many thanks to Chris & Dean and the entire RCMadness crew for yet another great weekend. The atmosphere was again friendly yet very competitive.

Thanks to all sponsors for the support. John Cravotta (Team Scream) and Joe Ford (Castle), you guys are class act.

Extra thanks to Aaron Wilson and Wesley Dennis for the support to help this poor canuck understand this offroad thing.

The 2009 1/18 Indoor Off Road Nationals is in the books and it was another successful event for R/C Madness and all those that participated. There were 11 classes of racing, over 220 entries, a boatload of door prizes and smiling faces all around. First, let me thank the sponsors who donate all the prizes and help make this event happen:
RC Driver Magazine
Team Associated
Castle Creations
Duratrax
Team Scream
TheToyz.com
Max Amps
Spektrum
Speed Passion
Exotek
SMC
Core RC
BRP
HRP Distribution
Racers Edge
Eagle Tree Systems
Apogee Packs
Hobby Shack
Airtronics
Parma PSE
HiTec RCD
Skyrocket Batteries
Boca Bearings
18thScaleRacing.com, the official forum of RC Madness
Competition Electronics
Grand Concepts
New Wave Cells

As always, the people who attended are first class and made this a competitive but fun event. MANY new faces and even more old ones! Thank to everyone who had a long drive/flight to and from the track! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ATTENDED!!!!!

I also want to thank Steve Slayden from Traxxas for bringing the new Mini E Revo and Mini Slayer EX to show off… These will be HUGE at the 2010 event!!!

Results should be in the June or July issue of RC Driver Magazine. I am going over the results and sponsor sheets now. REMEMBER, results from the On Road Nats are in the April issue of RC Driver magazine so make sure you buy the issue.

Please, email me direct if you have any questions or need anything as I will be away for a little while and not be checking the forums.
Thanks
Dean

Had a great time as usual. Big thanx to Chris, Dean and the rest of the madness crew for putting on the best race in the land for minis. Thanx to Joe Ford and Castle for the handout motors and support. Thanx to Monty for the color comentary. Thanx to Greg vogel for the free mags and pics. Thanx to Tory from Skyrocket cells for the packs and info.

Bermbuster and Noffsinger......missed ya'll. Maybe next year. Congrats to Ashlie Villar on her first National Championship and all the other winners. I managed to grab up my first A-Main (even if by default) podium finish so I'm stoked.

With all the new vehicles and electronics coming out, coupled with the new and improved Madness location......this race is only going to get bigger and better for next year.

I know i'll probably catch hell for this, but there is one thing that I'd like to see changed for next year. NO KIDS marshalling in any B or A mains. There's a friggin Buster Brown print on my Vendetta ST and I had to pull my buggy off the track after only 4 minutes because I was tired of running into marshals and getting put back on the track right in front of the leaders. I don't mind losing, but if I caused someone else to lose because of something that was out of my control......not cool.

Default kids marshalling = trying their best, superstars marshalling = absent

I respect your opinion Diesel, but perhaps the focus should be on those who dont even try when they marshall or worst still dont even do it.

WoW.....Just getting back home from Nats....Longer trip then normal because of having to drive South through the heavy snow to reach home base in North Carolina......Made it safe.

Again, WOW on the entries....It was looking bleak toward the end of the week that there wasn't going to be as many this year but the turnout was great even with the approaching weather......

Thanks to all the Madness Crew for again a great and fun race and for all the hard work it takes to put this show on......

Dieselpower......You walked by me a lot, you should have said hey....Congrats on making the A....

PierreV.....Dude, thanks for coming down again....good to see you...Truck was looking good out front in your main......Practice, Practice, Practice...LOL
See you next time......Give a shout out to Max from us Castle guys......

Thanks to all our Sponsors for sending all the good swag this year, (yet in a bad state of economy)....Micro racing is alive so make sure you support those sponsors that help and support us as racers......

Most of all....for me......I have to give a "GIGANTIC" THANK YOU, to Billy Fisher, Tim Mohr and Arron Wilson for getting my Mini-T stock truck back on the track in the A Main after a pre-race warm up mishap.....Would not have made that win without their help.....Now that was a true example
of team work.......

Thanks to everyone that came out and I will see you guys and gals next time.

Happy Racing,
Wesley"MICROMAN" Dennis
