rc18b rims and tires

just wondering if any one else is disappointed by the stock rims and tires on the rc18b? im looking at Pro-Line Dirt Hawg/Wabash 1/18 White http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUHV6&P=0
however i really would like to increase ground cleareance by getting 1/10 scale wheels and gearing down the drive line. any thoughts?
