What are the benefits and/or drawbacks of extending the wheelbase of a RC18?

I have seen it accomplished via the Exotek TEK18X kit as well as flipped arms from FullForce

The main benefit in extending your wheelbase in small cars/trucks like these that are capable of having alot of power is that it will handle the power better going into and coming out of turns.
Plus if it’s a truck it will help in taking bump jumps and stuff like that.
