RC18B with RC18R wheels vs Wabash road rage

I am looking to pick up three RC18B machines for some basement racing with my nephews. I want to get some onroad tires. I am in the pickle of deciding between the Associated RC18R wheel and tire combo (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXPTY9&P=ML) or the Pro-Line model (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUHV7&P=7). I do realize that the AE solution will require the RC18R axels. I'm not a big fan of the proportions of 1/10th scale wheels on the RC18R.

Does anyone have any pictures with either of these wheels/tires on their RC18B or T?

Does anyone have any additional input or suggestions?

the losi street meat tires hook up much better than either of those. plus they have a narrow front as well

What type of surface will you be running on in the basement? Carpet, concrete? Have you considered these?
