Losi Mini Monster Baja Help Please

Hi all

I'm new to RC Cars and have purchased a Losi Mini Monster Baja which was delivered yesterday!

I charged the battery up whilst reading the leaflets you get with it and once charged took it into the garden and plugged it all in and then gace it a little run! Nothing to major just getting used to steering it and did a couple of littl jumps! after about 10 minutes it stopped moving!

I investigated this and the motors are turning fine and if I manually move the drive train the wheels move so I took off the geaer cover and it appears the gear between the motors is not gripping onto the shaft and rather just spinning freeley on it so no movement is getting to the drive train!

I took off this gear and I can clearly see that it has been worn away with a couple of rings of plastic cut out of it. is this normal after 10 minutes of run time??

And does anyone know any good UK stockists of parts for this as I want to be back on the road as quick as possible
