sounds to me that your speed controller is getting to hot and then shutting down on you.....If you have a way of temping your speedo when this happens do so and see how hot it is.....What speed controller and motor are you running? As for the hub question I am not sure what you are describing about the wheels breaking.....

I just bought a mini LST used off ebay as my first RC in about 18yrs. (I had some cool ones in the 80's.) I probably got ripped off but what else is new. It didn't come with a charger even though it said it was RTR so now I have to buy a charger before I can use it.
Anyway, I was going to make some battery packs with 2/3a 1100mah cells from batteryspace.com, but I don't know what type of connectors these use. Does anyone know the name of these connectors and where I can find them?

Thanks!

Default Stock Speed Control

I have a MLST 1st gen. I had simliar ESC problems (went through 3 of them), just rip it out and go get a Dynamite Tazer 12T. I did and what a difference it made!
I have the insane 370 upgrade motors and they just scream now. Oh and I'm only using 6 cell 1500 maH batteries... no lipo's.
The stock controller will sense a spike in current and shut down.. they're junk don't waste your time or money on them... Buy the Tazer 12T and be done with it.

Anyone know for sure which one is best?
Also I think I stripped out one of my diffs, and I have the viscous diffs in. Does anyone know if there is a rebuild for these?
