If I recall from the drivers meeting on sat, Joe asked the same question and jim said that he gets there @ 9 and if they wanted he could open it then. Hey, we let oval racers in early why not micros?

FYI:

The shop was able to get in 10 of the "Stock" Losi 280 motors as well as a bunch of M-18 parts and Pro and Non-Pro tires.

The track/pit area is ready to go. Fresh paint on the pit tables and floor in the pit area as well as enough lighting in the pit area to get a sun tan! HTU GB locals are looking forward to this event

YME & all other travelers:

Just so you guys know, the track will be open to practice on Friday night if you plan to drive down early for a few laps, etc. I plan to change the layout Friday at around 4PM so we're all on a level playing field. After that, I'll be at the track till around midnight. Feel free to come out and practice.

Just in case anyone needs it, the Addy is 6714 D Governor Ritchie Highway Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Look for the Pizza Hut and turn into that shopping center!

Question about tires, what compounds do you use at the Haus and can we use paragon?

I'll talk w/ the other guys and see if we can make it down friday night for practice.

Sounds like this is shaping up to be an event i'll bring the video camera!!

If I may..... Paragon isn't allowed, only the non-smelly stuff. From what I'm seeing the tires being used most are 45-50 fronts and 35 rears.

This is shaping up to be a great race! I can't wait.

Default Very Good Question!

Thanks for bringing this up guys. I totally forgot about the traction compound rule. Guess I'm just so used to it now.

So you know, there are 2 types of Paragon allowed, "Traction Action" and "FX II". The "Ground Effects" is not allowed. Trust me, if it was my track it would be You may also use compounds like TQ, any of the 3 of them, Jack the Gripper, and any other Odorless or nearly odorless compound.

Webb pretty much hit the nail on the head with tires. I only run 45/35 in stock. I don't have a mod car yet, but I've had better results on other people's cars with 50/35. I will be doing a lot of tire testing as soon as I get my own mod car though

Good deal! As long as the weather is good that sounds like a nice day.

40 rears aren't that hard to get...
